The Reggae Brunch has teamed up with the Grenada Tourism Authority to give you a touch of Grenadian culture and adventure of what Pure Grenada, the spice of the Caribbean has to offer.
On Saturday 22nd June 2019, Reggae Brunch Birmingham will host a Pure Grenada Takeover One – Off Special. To kick off the day, from 12pm to 1pm we will be serving a Grenadian rum punch mixed into our infamous rum punch cocktail to tickle your taste buds. Followed by a Grenadian inspired 3-course meal, all I’m saying is stewed chicken, bakes – need I say more?
Sugar, spice Grenada, nicknamed ‘the Spice Isle’ also has sister-islands called Carriacou and Petite Martinique. There will be a raffle draw with prizes to be won and a face painter during the rum punch hour to create Grenadian bespoke designs. So, make sure you are ready rep your flag for the snaps and #puregrenada. The Grenada Tourism Authority has put together some limited goodie bag giveaways and MORE SURPRISES on the day!
With our resident DJ spinning all your favourite Reggae, lots of Soca, Calypso, Reggaeton, Bashment, Afro, Soul, Ska & Commercial hits all throughout, you will be giving more than just a two-step. Of course, as this is a Grenada special – be prepared for Soca!
Mickey Ganness also known as “Vibez King” (@jhamol_di_vibezking) originally from Victoria, St Marks in Grenada but resides in the UK. He loves music and has a passion for Soca music since the age of 5 years old. The brother of artist Brother B who won St Mark’s Soca Monarch in 2007.
Vibez King started his artist journey in the UK from 2018 along with his clothing brand called “vibez Team” in 2017.
